UNOSAT provides maps giving a comprehensive, albeit unvalidated analysis of the damage to houses in South Ossetia. Check it out for yourself:
1. Tskhinvali, area of South Ossetia controlled by "separatists" (map 5-TSK): low density of damaged housing; total 99 destroyed units.
2. Tamarasheni, Kverneti, Kverno Achabeti, Zemo Achabeti, Kurta, Kekhvi, Kemerti (maps 6-TSK, 4 to 1-TSK) settlements until August 8th were controlled by Georgians: total destruction, total: 931 destroyed units.
Who is committing "genocide" Mr Putin?
And by the way, according to Yulia Latynina, Russian tanks were already in Georgia on the way to Tskhinvali on August 5th (source). If true, then Georgia wasn't provoked after all. It wasn't given a choice. Russia had already started the war 3 days before Georgians moved into Tskhinvali.
