  I've taken some time to write a brief blog from London, England. I managed to go by the Canadian embassy right beside Lord Nelson's column today. What an impressive site, and one that makes you proud to be part of the British tradition of democracy, the rule of law, and representative government.
  
  Big Ben and Westminster were even more impressive, a beacon of liberty throughout London and the world.
  
  Despite the problems in the market, it is reassuring to think of the resiliency of our system of government and commerce which has withstood far greater challenges in the past. While there may be short term difficulties, I have no doubt that we will soon be on the path to recovery and wealth creation once again.
