For this year anyway, and here are a few photos to mark the event
It was a rainy day but that didn’t stop almost 150 people from coming out and doing a 5k walk with the group from Victoria Island to Parliament Hill via the Province of Quebec….. walking in 6 provinces makes this the most […]

News From The Trail
Charlotte called this morning - it looks like they’ll be in Thunder Bay by tomorrow night and while she saws The 2005 Youth Suicide Prevention Walk is a very worthwhile project and has been a very positive learning experience she is looking forward to “being home” again.

I’m Conflicted
I know that art is important, I know that it is important to support art, and the arts, and I know that we’d live in a pretty darned drab society if we didn’t do that.
On the flip side of the coin I was forwarded an email from a Municipal Recreation Co-Ordinator in Nunavut yesterday […]
Youth Suicide Prevention Walk Update
The group is now in Regina (Sask) completing a number of speaking engagements and media events there - they’re back on the road Sunday. It’s really unfortunate that most of the stuff they do only sees local air time when it’s national coverage that they both need and deserve.
There were a couple of days where […]

Fund Raising
The group has left Saskatoon and is headed for Winnipeg, they have to be there by the 20th so they’ve got some walking to do. We’re trying to get some current walk photos to post on the site - hopefully that will happen soon.
Everybody Likes Pictures
Got a picture from Charlotte from when they were at the West Edmonton Mall a while back… doing what they’re doing demands a little R&R and they look like they were having a ball.
I do hope Reno (the guy in the back) forgives me for this — but go ahead and tell me he don’t […]
Walk Update
Charlotte called yesterday to wish her mom a happy Mothers Day so we have a bit of news to pass on.
The walkers were in North Battleford, Sask and on their way to Saskatoon… yes, they have picked up the pace considerably :-)
Things are going well for the group, they took some time in Edmonton to […]
