Did you know, for example, that even a political finance shell scheme that some might consider fraud is actually an issue of free speech in Canada?  That bit of hack spin sounds like it came from the Conrad Black school of accounting.   Got scandal?  Insert “free speech”.

It takes some pretty big stones (and ego) to stand up and say that “they’re wrong, I’m right” without anything to back up the assertion.

Has there ever been a more pointless, childish or ridiculous motion introduced the House of Commons? Help me, I don’t know for sure. Can anyone come up with one worse than this?
