CBC Question Period Live Chat

Yesterday I had a little time to kill at 2:00PM so logged in to see what goes on in Question Period live chat hosted by the CBC to see what goes on there – I won’t be going back, I can’t abide echo chambers .

In other news I’m once again goign to be absent from the keyboard for most of the evening… Billy Bragg is in town and I’m going.

What town are you in? I’d love to see that show.

Ottawa, the link for todays CBC circus chat can be found here, Question Periods itself is (of course) broadcast live on CPAC.

Actually, I meant the Billy Bragg show. Where’s he playing?

Sorry I missed that question yesterday. Bragg played the Bronson Centre in Ottawa, I believe it was sold out and I didn’t even see any scalpers so at the point in the day you asked the chances were slim (to none) that you’d have made it in. Doors opened at 7:00 and at 6:30 when we got there the line to get in was already nearly a block long.

It was a great show, his guitar skills are not what one could in any respect label as legendary but his lyrics are good, his topic material is good, and he’s funny as hell.

Glad to hear it was a good show (I had forgotten that I had a family commitment anyway). I had no idea he was funny.
