What Happened to the Furiosi While I Was Gone??
I haven’t had time since my vacation to pay much attention to intellectual leaders of conservative blogdom, but decided to do a quick whip around for the stimulation I’ve been missing. And I discovered a most disturbing trend.
We’ve long maintained at the bunker that our friends on the extreme right have been drifting gently away from reality for the last decade. It grieves me to report that the pace of separation is accelerating.
Kathy can’t tell the difference between China and Japan. (Footbinding? Chinese: you know, that big lumpy country on the left, not the little skinny island on the right. Yes, I suppose without your glasses they DO all look the same, but still…)
Paul can’t tell the difference between myth and reality. In fact, he gets a bit miffed in the comments at the suggestion that they may be different. (h/p to CC)
Wendy can’t tell the difference between the United States and Canada. (OUR Commander in Chief? OUR President? No, Wendy, WE’RE the ones who pay for the antidepressants – THEY’RE the meanies who make you buy your own.)
And the whole gang is rhapsodizing about the wonderful Sarah Palin and her eagerly awaited 2012 ascent to the throne, apparently oblivious to the fact that Americans don’t like her, and their dislike is growing with every month.
To quote the immortal Ellen Ripley – did IQs just drop sharply while I was away?
I haven’t noticed anything different. When was the last time any of these people said something rational?
And the lieberals havent done much better as indicated by all of the poles with a 10% difference in favor of the Tories.
And Iffy still doesnt know what to do. I wonder if his ‘leave of absence’ from Harvard has expired yet?
Will he be the second lieberal leader to not become PM?

Things aren’t going their way. Their Family Values™© icons are being revealed as sleazy sex-crazed grifters and their followers as dupes and fools. The Terrorists™ are being tried under rule of law instead of being tossed into an angry, jabbering mob, torn to pieces and fed to pigs. Canada remains a totalitarian communist state under the scourge of Universal health care.

Whats a lieberal? Simple, its a liberal who cant tell the truth, similar to most politicians. Remember Ontario Premier Dalton McTeflon saying “I wont raise your taxes” and then bang, he caved into the federal tory’s pressure and announced he will implement the dreaded HST on July 1st of next year.

Doing a quick glance at the people behind this blog and the commentators here, and I’d say that, excepting Ti-Guy, there isn’t a single Liberal voter in the bunch (and even that’s a guess).
I often vote Liberal.
But it’s true – the fruitcakes aren’t Conservatives, they’re Reformers. Conservatives aren’t represented at the federal level anymore. They were swallowed whole by a rump of Alberta Reformers.
What I can’t figure out is – who was eugenics meant to target? I mean, if certain people had had their way, would there even BE a Reform Party?
