Racial Profiling Bites Law Enforcement On The A$$

…. stageleft basement bunker laughs (and laughs) at white folks being stopped, questioned, and searched because they’re white folks.

White people are being unjustifiably stopped and searched to provide racial balance in police statistics, the antiterrorism watchdog said yesterday.

[ ..... ]

Lord Carlile said that police were stopping white people unjustifiably so that official figures would make it look as if they were not singling out black and Asian people under Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Section 44 of the Terrorism Act allows police to “stop and search anyone in a designated area without suspicion that an offence has occurred“.

So law enforcement using racial profiling stop, search, and detain, suspicious looking characters (ie, not white) and then all of a sudden the numbers show they’re targeting not white folks (which they are) so they start targeting white folks to bring balance to the numbers.

I’m sitting here in the bunker with a mug ‘o mead and LMAO wondering how many of those same white folks backed the initial legislation when they thought it was other folks who were being targeted.

Dear white folks of Britain,

What ever happened to the tried and true “if you’ve nothing to hide you’ve nothing to fear” gig anyway?

Sincerely yours,
stageleft

It’s almost biblical ain’t it…. what’s that verse about reaping and sowing again?

It’s funny in the way that progressivism isn’t. As in, wow, this pc-liberalism has hit a whole new level of stupid.

No, what’s so funny that I’ve been quietly chuckling to myself all evening over it is a bunch of WASP’s all of a sudden having to deal with the bullsh*t that any other racial group within a predominantly white society has always had to deal with and getting absolutely outraged over it.

You don’t find that’s funny? I think it’s absolutely f#@king hilarious… where’s your sense of ha-ha anyway. Can’t you hear them from all the way across the ocean even now… “I mean jeez man…. blacks, Aboriginals, Asians, and Arabs, are one thing…. but don’t the authorities know how to treat decent white folk anymore?

    LMAOPRDML!!

You’re asking me to respond to the suggestion that whites being randomly spot-checked is funny because it’s only being done in order to account for the “disproportionate” spot-checks of blacks, aboriginals, asians and Arabs. But I won’t, because I don’t agree with the secondary argument that the police stop those demographics in a disproportionate way.

The police stop suspects. They shouldn’t be stopping people based on their racial features. Just because statistics show that more minorities than whites are being stopped doesn’t mean there’s a correlation to profiling. Now, thanks to progressivism and their insistence on counting browns and whites, we know there is.

    Shorter Raphael,

Everything was fine until those damned liberals and their counting proved we were profiling minorities.

    Shorter BJ’s Shorter Raphael,

We are not like them, therefore we shouldn’t be treated like them.
