And So Another Season Begins

Wednesday was one of the happiest days of Claude Dorion’s life.

After six years of begging and pleading, his 23-year-old son was rewarded with a motorcycle licence. Soon, he would be riding alongside his father on a bike of his own.

It wasn’t to be. Dorion’s dream came to a horrible, crashing end early Thursday morning when he was struck by a car while driving his motorcycle in the area of Richmond Rd. and Woodroffe Ave. He was left at the scene and died a short time later in hospital.

At the time I first posted about this I thought I was angry — now I see that I was just getting warmed up.
