Somebody Has Tickets To See These Guys Tonight

Guess who :-)

I haven’t been this pumped about a show since Sebastian Bach and Guns & Roses came to town a couple of years ago – the chances of me being mostly deaf and really hung over tomorrow morning are really (and I do mean really) good.

I hear the Bollywood Beatles are opening for them. Lucky you!

The Last Vegas, Hinder, and Theory Of A Deadman opened – Theory should have been in the #2 spot, they’re not as good as Hinder.

The InterTubes seem really loud this morning, my head hurts, I’m on coffee #2 and still not able to focus well, but it was a great show – nice and loud with lots of pyrotechnics just the way I like it.

The fun was not hindered in the least by the great bunch of people in the section we were in, everybody on their feet for the entire Crue set, everybody knew the words, there was lots (and lots) of the beverage, 5 impromptu go-go dancers at the front of the section did a bang up job of helping to keep us entertained in all sorts of interesting ways (hehe), and we traded the two people who complained about the partying and the noise (wft did they expect at a Crue concert anyway?) into the section across the isle from us for two people who wanted to have fun.

It was hard not to notice that a great many people in attendance had obviously made significant personal financial sacrifice to attend the show and were reduced to hand rolled smokes… but even in those tough circumstances they still shared their skinny little cigarettes with those who had none – I tell you, Crue fans are the most caring meal heads on the planet.

I may be feeling miserable this morning, but man what a great time I had last night.
