ROTFLMAO…. tune in to the Sean Hannity show now, don’t ask questions, just do it!!

He’s complaining about Obama “the politics of fear” to get what he wants.

…. ah for the good old days ‘eh, the Bush administration would never contemplate doing something like that.

Wow, PSA back from picking bananas…. still making philosophical comments.

If you had read stagelefts post which was titled “One Sided Propaganda Is Wrong” you would get it.

Stageleft is 100% right “One Sided Propaganda Is Wrong” whether it comes from Hannity or Colmes or anyone. What Hannity was saying yesterday was embarrassing.

Propaganda is inherently one-sided, and it’s not necessarily “wrong”. It’s just a framed message meant to persuade. But it’s not to be mistaken for journalism, or objective analysis, or thoughtful reflection. When I see an ad that tells me nine out ten dentists recommend Colgate, I don’t mistaken that for a study in the New England Journal of Medicine.

“the politics of fear” is the wrong kind of propaganda. Hannity should be able to come up with some constructive criticism that is better than the crap he spewed.

Very well said balb, could not agree more. I keep looking at propaganda in the world war ii sense….. sorry about that.

I was commenting on Hannity’s blatant hypocrisy, he willingly parroted Bush administration fear based politics and is now whining about Obama doing what he claims is the same thing.

  7. Wayne on March 6th, 2009 at 5:26 pm

Stageleft: Yes, it was blatant hypocrisy…. and that is hard for me to admit it. I’ve been a tad blind.

You’re coming along nicely, Wayne. Now your next assignment it to write something on your blog that isn’t just a repeat of someone else’s anti Muslim news story – something that shows you trying to find balance.
