@Peter – I’ll forward that to Gay & Right and tell him you think he’s supporting the wrong party on his blog Peter.
In other news we discover, via CFRA, that the Mayor and the entire Council are planning to attend a Federation of Canadian Municipalities conference in Whistler BC….. so much for the ‘fiscal responsibility‘ they’re fronting when talk of the transit strike pops up ‘eh?
heh… CFRA now says that only 12 of 13 councilors are going to Whistler for the conference – apparently Council thought that if all 13 went it would send the wrong signal to the community.
Whew SL, what a relief. I am so glad the city is being so fiscally prudent. That caretaker they are leaving back wouldn’t happen to be Clive Doucet would it?

An Ottawa Baker’s Dozen are going, eh?
The mayor doesn’t want an end to the strike, he’s just seeing the $$$$$ the city is saving. Doesn’t give a rat’s ass for the populace
Are they walking? Or are aircraft to ski resorts an “essential service”?
