Neither. I don’t watch cockfights, bullfights, “political” “leadership” “debates”, or plays about three generations of brave Saskatchewan women discovering that the bonds of blood, strength and womanhood uniting them are stronger than the gaps of age that divide them. I like theatre, but abhor cliché, bad writing, and overwrought amateur performances.

I’m pretty sure “Gray’s Anatomy” or something is on. A re-run of Mythbusters seems quite apropos…

There’s an interesting thought, Mike. What would other appropriate alternatives be?

If we were commenting on URQ thought processes, “Canadian Idle” springs to mind…

For pure comedy sake, Biden-Pallin will be off the charts. Will Biden be sober? Will Pallin have read any books or magazines that she can name yet? But saying that, watching 4 left-leaning leaders gang up on Stephen Harper might also be too much to pass up – I guess it’s just one of those times I wish I had TiVo.

Peter D I guess it’s just one of those times I wish I had TiVo.

Don’t worry Peter, this … uhm, ..er, uh… “revolution”, will be thoroughly YouTubed.

Neither. First part of the evening I’ll be working at a hockey game, then off to take part in a 30th anniversary celebration of my buddies’ band at a blues club.

All that other stuff? I’m sure somebody will tell me all about it the following morning.

After going to an all candidates debate where the Conservative candidate ducked out (and still hasn’t responded to a polite email asking why), I think a little televised Conservative-bashing might be an entertaining evening.

I am fortunate enough not to have cable TV. At this point in North American history I am quietly praying that the Earth opens and swallows up all of the politicians of every stripe. At least then there’d be an excuse for the huge release of methane from beneath the Arctic Ocean. Indigestion. Oh yeah, and I’m watching Weeds on DVD.

It depends on the weather. I’ve got a kick boxing class tomorrow night, I’m usually out of the dojo by 8:30 and home by 9:00 — unless of course it rains, in which case I’m not driving the bike, and the bus won’t get me home until 10:00.

If it was something important I’d forgo the dojo for a night but quite frankly I can listen to them toss their partisan rhetoric at each other on CPAC, NewsWorld, or News Net at just about any time of the day or night so why bother?

Besides, I’ll be able to come home and read all the blogging alliances declaring their guy/gal the winner and decrying all the other participants as a bunch of lying scum bags.
