I think they’ll just give the election coverage more, because each time they talk about our election, they’ll bring up a comparison.

Yes, saskboy, and what comparisons it will make:

” Know what the difference is between an environmental activist and a pitbull? Not a lot actually, and certainly not lipstick, because studies show that man-made oils, synthetic colors and petroleum based waxes in lipsticks release toxins into the atmosphere that increase pollutants and, according to new research from Sweden, may actually accelerate climate change”.

” Mr. Harper says my carbon tax proposal will increase the overall tax burden of Canadians. That is a Conservative lie. It will actually decrease the overall tax burden for ordinary Canadians and allow them to better afford the the things they need to provide for their families– like flights to Florida and big cars”.

“And when I say we in the NDP stand for the politics of hope, I mean the hope of ordinary Canadians for a secure and prosperous future of this great land. I mean the hopes Canadians have for a peaceful and just society for their children. I mean like when Olivia told me the day I was elected to Toronto City Council was the first time she could feel proud of her country.”

” Nothing is more important to me than my family and children. I know I share this with millions of Canadians across this great country. Being prime minister with a majority government would be very good for my family and children, and I invite all Canadians to see how good it would be for theirs.”

Sadly, I may find the election(s) south of the 49th far more interesting, so I’m kinda hoping (a) Harper is bluffing for the 85,000th time and Dion falls for it or (b) …
