De Writ Boss, De Writ !!

The blog-0-sphere went into full buzz mode today when Harper called three federal by elections. Given that whoever gets elected will be a garden variety ‘vote how and when you’re told or we’ll kick your a$$ out of the party‘ MP the only aspect of this little public role playing exercise that interests me (other than what voter turn out ends up being) is as a probable indicator of whether or not the nation as a whole gets to have another little role playing exercise this fall.

The bunker predicts that

(a) if the Liberal status quo is maintained we may see an election – but it’s unlikely
(b) if the Liberals gain there will be an election
(c) if the Liberals do not gain there will not be an election

Additionally the bunker predicts that if Liberals lose it will be the fault of poor campaigning at the local level, or Conservative/NDP/Green dirty tricks, and if they win it will be because of a strong leader.
