Is It A Military Fetish?

The number of homosexual fantasies that have been fulfilled in the British army looks like it’s grown yet again…. is this some hitherto unknown military fetish?

The Royal Military Police are investigating a new allegation against British troops in Iraq after a 14-year-old Iraqi detained in 2003 with a group of looters claimed he was sexually abused.

The abuse came to light when one of the accused soldiers took photographs of the incidents at Camp Bread Basket and handed them to a shop back in Britain to be processed. A shop assistant called the police. The photographs caused an outcry when they were published around the world.

Hassan, now 19, revealed in The Independent on Sunday that he was rounded up with a friend while trying to steal milk cartons from a food-distribution centre. He claimed he was whipped, beaten and forced to engage in oral sex with his friend.

The suspected looters had been arrested in an operation codenamed Ali Baba, the name given to thieves by British troops in Iraq. Mazin Younis, of the Iraqi League, told the newspaper that while Hassan was being forced to engage in the sex act, his British captors “laughed raucously and took photographs”.

Far be it from me to criticize some ones personal kink but forcing a kid to suck his buddies dick at gun point is just plain sick.

Not only is it sick, but it’s completely unnecessary….. seriously, there are legitimate ways to watch two guys get it on if that’s what yer kink is — are there no p0rn threatres in England these guys can go to? No DVD’s they can watch in their basements? Will their wives not dress up as little Arab boys and beg for them? Are there no sex trade workers at home who will help them out? Have these guys not heard of the Internet for gods sake?

One has to recognize the inherent homoeroticism of the military. The burly, rough men, the preoccupation with phallic symbols (rifles, missiles, rockets, bullets), the community bunking/bathroom facilities, the ‘comraderie’ and brotherly love.

It’s actually quite contrary that the strongest proponents of the military are typically the ones most opposed to ‘immoral’ homosexual behaviour.

Last time I checked the scholarship, rape and this sort of abuse was all about power, not sex. It’s unlikely there’s anything homoerotic about it.
