Awh…. Poor Little Georgie

President Bush regrets his legacy as man who wanted war

President Bush has admitted to The Times that his gun-slinging rhetoric made the world believe that he was a “guy really anxious for war” in Iraq.

Given everything that has come to light since his little “with us or against us” stupidity I think it’s a little late now to try and convince us that it was all some sort of misunderstanding don’t you think – does he really think that people are dumb enough to forget all that?

He said that his aim now was to leave his successor a legacy of international diplomacy for tackling Iran.

Sorry George, you already have a legacy – does this look somewhat familiar? You’ve also got water boarding, the destruction of a country, the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children, millions of homeless refugees, hundreds of thousands of orphans, widows, and cripples, a divided country, and a national debt so friggen big you had to borrow zeros from China just to write it down – so quit being so f*cking greedy with the legacy thing already; besides, international diplomacy is not something you have the capacity to understand let alone achieve.

Here’s some free advice from the bunker for ya…… forget the Abraham Lincoln fantasy, the only hope you have for a legacy other than “worst president ever” is to grab the bull by the horns, admit to screwing up on a scale not seen since Julius Caesar, and resigning before you make things any worse then you already have. At least then history will be able to say (11th hour or not) that you knew you were a failure and took your VP and left willingly to let others more capable clean up your mess.

I really wonder what Dubyah must be thinking these days. He must be aware of his approval ratings. He must be aware that even McCain and his colleagues in Congress are trying to distance themselves from him. He must be aware of how he screwed the pooch.

Honestly, I don’t know how he does it – how he wakes up every morning and forces himself to face the world. For that, at least, he deserves some kind of twisted, dark, morbid credit.

Nonsense, BB-Idaho. ANYTHING can be blamed on Carter. Not accurately or logically, of course. But when did THAT start mattering?

    ‘My’ Soldier Came Home…

America’s Son came home from war alive and whole, so why do I feel such a loss? My sleep has been forced upon me, I forget to eat, I constantly check the email in the hopes that he’ll let me know he’s alright. After all, that is what we did…

The Decider is the type of deluded soul who believes in his heart that he is right and that the rest of the world will catch up to him eventually – he’ll go to his grave believing that…. which is too bad, I rather he go there disgraced and broken.
