I could care f*cking less if Bernier’s ex-girlfriend knew a guy who knew a guy who was in a bike gang - you’re starting to sound like Americans. Seriously, I know and ride with a lot of people, and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to find out that one of them knew, or once knew, someone who was, or was once, in a bike gang. He\\, come to think of it I’d actually be really surprised to discover that someone I knew didn’t know someone who is, or once was, in a bike gang - so what?
Even if you don’t hang out with bikers, think about this for just a minute…. how many people do you know?
No, wait, that may be a lot of people (I’m not very social but I bet I still know at least 150 people), so lets reduce it a bit, how many friends do you have? Do you know each and every person that each of them know? As, I said, I’m not a social guy but I bet you could easily find at least 20 people who call me friend, if each those 20 are equally non-social, but have 20 friends of their own, and know a hundred or so people, we’re now talking about thousands of people - what do you suppose the chances are that each and every one of them is squeaky clean?
It’s a rare day when you find me agreeing with anything that Stephen Harper says but today is gonna be one of these days, there is no national interest, it’s none of the Liberals business, and they should leave the personal sleaze tactics to their counterparts south of the border.
Update: Well, that does it for me I guess, I just remembered that I know a guy who bought a bike from a retired Hells Angels member…. does that mean I have “links” to organized crime.
Updated: Who knew I was so well connected? Jeez, it just struck me. If Bernier’s ex-girlfriend knew a guy who knew a guy in the Hells Angels, and I know a guy who knows a guy who was in the Hells Angels - that means that I have “links” to Canada’s federal cabinet…… and you know what that means don’t ya, yes my pretties, that’s exactly what it means, you better be nice to me, I’m “linked” to the Prime Minister himself !!
