Got my regular monthly propaganda email-out from the Liberal Party today, there’s apparently “an election on the horizon“….. I have no doubt that there is an election on the horizon, I’m just not sure how far away the horizon is in the House of Commons these days.

In anticipation of this election the Liberal Party of Canada has set up the “Victory Fund”

……an innovative new fundraising initiative created as a means for all Liberals to participate in an inexpensive and meaningful way to finance Liberal victories at both the riding and the national level.

Apparently this is the answer to new campaign financing rules introduced by the CPoC designed to take advantage of the kick ass grassroots network developed by the the Reform Party that they inherited.

In a nut shell:

• Reform Party
• send money

– you really didn’t expect anything else did you?
