The City Council of Nanaimo BC is exploring the option of Internet voting in the next municipal elections. I wonder if they’re willing to expand that to allowing residents to vote via the Internet on actual municipal issues, as opposed to just choosing who decides on the issues on their behalf?

Got my regular monthly propaganda email-out from the Liberal Party today, there’s apparently “an election on the horizon“….. I have no doubt that there is an election on the horizon, I’m just not sure how far away the horizon is in the House of Commons these days.

According to CFRA’s Steve Madely if drug addicts are arrested and jailed enough times they will voluntarily seek help for their addictions rather than go back to jail….. you’d think if that actually worked they might have tried it, wouldn’t ya?
