At what point does leeching an unsecured wireless connection and posting something on a discussion forum become the “hacking of Internet sites“?

Does this woman not know when to shut her Internet pie hole for pete’s sake? Warman has already proven that he’s willing to launch law suits for libel and being accused of hacking a website when that isn’t what happened probably falls well within the definition of libel.
Leeching an unsecured connection is leeching an unsecured connection.
Posting on forums is posting on forums.
Hacking is hacking.
And leeching an unsecured wireless connection to post on a forum is not hacking Internet sites.
If Shaidle is looking to convince the court handling the libel suit she’s been served with that she’s completely Internet illiterate she’s gonna have to do a lot better than that.

There’s one thing about all this that makes me wonder. Why is Mark Steyn getting a pass on all this? Dean Steacy, in particular, has an iron-clad case against both Steyn and Maclean’s Magazine for actually accusing him of a criminal act. Maybe Dean is waiting for the current case to be decided, but I suspect that Styen and Maclean’s are going to make him a little better off someday.
