Said in April 2nd, 2008 @7:53 am I was actually having quite a bit of fun with Scenty for a week or so. He removed comment moderation, and I got to experience his wisdom first hand. I learned quite a bit about how the moronosphere avoids thinking..
I think my favourite of guests was someone named Otter, who dismissed all IPCC findings as junk. Challenged repeatedly to produce his rebuttal, he finally provided a link to a set of temperature readings, unsourced, unverified, and undefined, with no author, taken in some Arctic settlement. That was a “rebuttal”.
Eventually, of course, Scenty started editing my responses, then lying about it. But it was fun for a bit there.

My recent favourite was his link to a one year old story about the US planning to attack Iran. Apparently the date of the article eluded him in putting together his thesis that an attack on Iran was imminent. Priceless!
