If It’s So “Romantic” George –

– get yer arse to the front lines and be a real war president.

According to Think Progress The Decider told troops he was “a little envious” of their “romantic” fight

“I must say, I’m a little envious,” Bush said. “If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed.”

“It must be exciting for you … in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You’re really making history, and thanks,” Bush said.

I imagine that’s a fairly common misconception when the closest you’ve been to seeing someones legs being blown off, or trying to shove your buddies guts back into his abdominal cavity while he screams that he doesn’t want to die, is watching reruns of Hamburger Hill while laying in bed under your red, white, and blue, star spangled comforter, and munching down on some of moms apple pie with a warm glass of milk.

Anybody need more proof that the man is seriously deluded?

What’s even more disgusting about his statement is that he dodged going to Viet Nam. If he thinks was is so romantic, why didn’t he join the AF instead of the National Guard?

Crap. I really should proof things.

It’s supposed to be “If he thinks war is so…”
