Your Weekly Update on Ezra’s “Union” of Bloggers
Nothing to report, I’m afraid. On February 12, he committed to
“…putting in place a governance structure, financial controls, terms of membership and other basics. Over the next few days I hope to recruit a board of directors — small enough to make decisions, but broad enough to have a variety of views on it. (SNIP) So to all of you who have written with inquiries about joining, please be patient. I hope to have something substantive to report back to you this month.”
So far, still nothing on the site about the governance structure, management, objectives, plans, accountability, membership, terms of reference, reporting, or strategies.
But the paypal button is still working, so you can still send Ezra your money. For…whatever, I guess.
Be sure to watch for next week’s exciting update!

If bloggers formed a union, who might they go on strike against?
Readers, obviously. You know, the millions who hang on our every word for guidance.
Imagine, if you can, a world forced to struggle through its day without our wit, our wisdom, our analysis, our insight.
Imagine George Bush and Stephen Harper, staring ashen-faced at a blank screen with nothing but a “Stageleft” title at the top, minutes before a crucial international gathering, forced to “wing it” without the Bunker’s perspective.
Imagine the total collapse of Western Civilization as the wall of reason erected by SDA and its ilk collapses and the Islamofascinazi hordes, no longer held in check by Kate’s withering critiques, surge across our nation.
Imagine Negroes rioting in our streets and Indians burning down our cities, freed of Kathy Shaidle’s stern but loving oversight.
Staggering responsibility we bloggers shoulder, really. I don’t know how we bear up under the strain, I really don’t.
You are taking screen shots of this aren’t you b? It would be a shame for something like this to disappear one day without any
pictorial evidencehistorical record of the heroic effort being made by Mr Levant in his eternal struggle.Balb, that may be the most modest thing I’ve read all day. Perhaps all year. Well done.
You’re quite right. When confronted with the cornucopia of talents and virtues that even my harshest critics agree I embody, it’s hard to select just one to highlight, but I think my humility would have to be in the top hundred or so.
If Ms Shaidle’s words were to, indeed, disappear down that new black and red (and blue all over?) rabbit hole, I think we’d at least have time to get out of town before the firestorm engulfed us all.
After all, Mr. Flanagan would still be hard at work, bloggodome or no……
Right?
.
Go easy on Ezra, apparently he had a tough week, especially for a guy who is supposedly a lawyer. He was probably too busy trying to fix his latest screw up to deal with the union, or something:

Oh, God, not another lawsuit. I can’t stand another wave of self-pity, automartyrdom and fundraising.
I break copyright law all the time, why can’t *I* get national press coverage for doing it???
