The CBA Organizers Are Geniuses

The organizers of the Canadian Blog Awards have just started to roll out this year’s winners, and they’ve done something absolutely brilliant. I’m not going to spoil the surprise, but head over right away. Two are up so far - the best military blog and the best celebrity-media blog. You have to see this. Check it out now.

And congralutations to the winners!

I should note off the bat that the idea was originally Wayne Chu’s and I proudly give him credit for passing the idea to me.

Every year I discover at least one treasure out there through the CBAs, and this year it was in the nominations for best Entertainment/Cultural blog. I’m sure the winner is very nice, but the fourth place folks - the Foodcourtlunch Blog - are already favourites of mine.

That’s “favourites” in the Entertainment/Cultural category, of course. They’re also running in the Best Group Blog category against us, where they suck.
