former Thompson staffer; “Boycott Chuck Norris”

This is really dumb. And it’s more along the lines of the guy who attacked Melanie Morgan. To imagine that a Thompson staffer would attempt something like this is rather disgusting. (Go over and read the comments on this thread – they’re…

Every once in while I follow these links, because they seem to lead mostly to these REALLY WEIRD ultraconservative blogs where people say stuff that makes Kate Shaidle sound like Plato.

I just read the link from Cao’s Blog, which has a big picture of Sarah Connor posed with a gun in front of an America flag. The post is defending Chuck Norris’s endorsement of Huckabee. It contains the following intersting assertions.

“Evolution is a Victorian-age myth…and most of what they use to prop the myth has been debunked.”

(Ah. That would be as opposed to the Bible, an Iron-Age myth?)

“Norris supported the Bible as a book in schools, which is also something that the founding fathers supported.”

Blink. The founding fathers supported the use of the Bible in schools? Goodness. Can anyone get me a reference for that? Or is like the Texas legislator who opposed the teaching of Spanish in south Texas schools because “English was the language of the Bible”?

I could go on. But I don’t think I will. Maybe it’s time to rev up Conucopia again.
