The Sound of Bunk Science

They keep trying, you have to hand it to them, those dastardly deniers. Their sycophants just eat it up too. This is one of the best lists of TV Weathermen, pseudo scientists, energy company money beneficiaries and others just plain misquoted. It’s not surprising considering the author of the report. He’s a PR guy paid to shill denial spin for god’s sake, and one with quite a sordid past.

Am I the only one who feels like they need a bath after every visit to SDA? What a cesspool of mutual delusion.

Bad thinking has settled in to stay over there, I fear. The typical sequence of an SDA thread runs as follows:

    a) Scornful introductory phrase from Kate.
    b) Extended excerpt from one of the URQ canonical authorities.
    c) Closing sneer from Kate.
    d) Extended chorus of “Yeah, for sure, gosh that’s so true” for fifty voices.

I think Kate knows exactly what she’s doing. She loves the way her loyal minions and swoon at her call. She’s a puppeteer. And she loves it.
