The weather cleared up and we made it back earlier this evening, here’s a pic taken from the plane as we were leaving.
Winter is upon the north, and I gotta tell ya, at 6:00Am this morning the wind and ground drift made us all very aware of that fact.
There’s enough snow on the ground for snowmobiles to be out and about - made me wish I still had one.
The ocean hasn’t frozen over yet, but it’s headed that way quickly and pretty soon it will be ski-doos, not boats, headed across the bay.
Looks great don’t it? Now do you guys see why I like it there?
PS: The image is slightly off kilter, a 727 takes off at a fairly steep angle (something that bugs me to no end but they do it anyway….. maybe there’s a pilot out there that can explain to me why they feel compelled to point it skyward like that) so I was holding the camera over my left shoulder and hoping for the best.

So now that you’re back, can you please fix up all the posting featurea that I screwed up so I can put up some of the stuff I was writing in your absence, pretty please?
