For Ontario Readers…Am I Nuts, Or…

Yeah, it kind of does when you look at it peripherally.

Vampire or not, that is one UGLY piece of graphic design.

Sorry about that yawn…I’m never at my best before morning coffee… 8D

The “message” confuses, though. The very act of voting means that you agree to have someone else speak for you.

That’s disturbing. To me it says “When you vote watch out that one of the poll clerks doesn’t bite you”. *shudder*

Disturbing. I wouldn’t want to look at it for long, and yes it does look fanged, and hostile. Is it in pain? Is it going to eat me?

Perhaps they were going for a sentiment akin to P. Diddy’s “Vote or Die” campaign.

Fanged, hostile, in pain …. in other words the appropriate symbol of elections.

    – and yes valiantmauz, it does eat the electoriate – or rather chews them up, and spits them out like dirt after they vote and are of no further use.

Good point, Chimera. We cast ballots so that others can speak for us.

This is starting to sound a tad familiar :-)

Whooee! I seen the latest version of this graphic in today’s Brantford Suppositor. They’ve changed it. The fang-lookin’ teeth ain’t there anymore. It’s still sorta grotesque but not in a vampiric way.

Good point from Chimera. It applies to the election of MPP’s but does not apply to the referendum, sez I.

Holy crap. I had no idea the Bunker was taken so seriously.

    Let’s try that again.

Hey. Harper. Lose the kitten on the website, man, you look like a big, lame suck.

  12. JimBobby on October 5th, 2007 at 11:26 am

Whooee! Revel in yer glorious power, Balbu. I betcha that kitten’ll be history by the time King Steve calls an election. Speakin’ of kittens, I seen a good bumper sticker yesterday. It was along the lines of “I (heart) NY.” — “I (spade) My Cat”
I wonder if Harper spays his cats. He done a good good of neutering his caucus.

Dang! I meant to say “He done a good job of neutering his caucus.”

An Inuit friend had a great t-shirt: “I (club) Baby Seals.”

  15. JimBobby on October 5th, 2007 at 1:25 pm

Whooee! “I (club) Baby Seals.” That’s a caution, Balbu. I’m COL (chucklin’ out loud).

Oh my god. You mean that Kitten on Website thing wasn’t doctored? I thought that was a joke.
He looks like he might be considering utilizing one of the kittens for its protein.
    Jeez.
