Does anyone else find a charge of being morally unfit by one former prime minister to another kind of rich considering this?

I wonder if Mulroney considers everyone who did not join the army to fight in WWII, and everyone who did not back conscription, as morally unfit for leadership.
One also has to wonder if Mulroney would have, had he been old enough in 1942, been running around decrying Canadians who voted against conscription, or who did not, for any number of reasons, enlist, as unpatriotic, Hitler loving, Jew hating, cowards.
Wow, the G&M quoted Mulroney’s mouthpiece using the F-word without censoring the epithet. I didn’t know papers could do that.
Aside from that, are such accusations part of the Conservative ‘civility’ role models held up to the Leftopian savages? Or were fainting couches ordered in for the mass swoon of those betrayed by such horrid talk?
And to think of how many people voted for Mulroney. So much for being P.C. The bravest thing they seem to be able to do is attack a man who’s been dead a couple of years. Well I guess if you think about it, you have to realize there is no way the man you are attacking is going to retaliate.
Seriously… All the crap Mulroney spewed was nothing but mindless drivel from someone trying to get their name back in the limelight. Just too bad he had to attack a man a lot of Canadians had a lot of respect for.
Even if he was a Liberal.

What an embarassment. Mulroney always was a shallow, vulgar, graceless and vindictive man with an ego astonishingly out of alignment with his merits or achievements.
He always radiated a kind of baffled rage at the respect that Trudeau inspired. He left behind no legacy at all, and now, I assume, he’s trying to emerge from behind a better man’s shadow by chopping away at Trudeau’s.
What a humiliating spectacle.
