On October 10th the people of Ontario will be called to the polls, what will you be voting for?
I was viewing John Tory as a new hope for the PC in Ontario, the man has real life experience in business and isn’t exactly a moron,… and he had to play around with Intelligent Design.
DOH!!!
Jeepers, it makes me wonder who is giving policy and campaign advice. Who ever it is John should fire his/her sorry arse tonight.
I may end up voting for NOTB . I feel like crying.
Sorry Zorph, the fact that he wants the government to fund schools for every religion in the province qualifies him, IMO, as a moron.
Yes, Stageleft, I am afraid I must agree with you,… the question now becomes, “Is he a complete freaking moron?” With incredibly stupid policy I find impossible to support him, despite all this other positive qualities. Again it is turning into a vhoice between a “Turd Sandwich” and a “Giant Douch”. I leave it you to decide who is who,…
I, Stageleft, will be voting for “Change”.
Is that what we ALL want?
Many years ago I wrote the first biography of Mitch Hepburn. In 1934 led the Liberals to victory partly helped by his promise to extend public financing to Catholic separate schools.
However, I think John Tory’s promise to extend public funding to a whole raft of denominational schools insane. It will seal his fate on Oct. 10.
SL,
It would be hilarious if a bunch of these ballots ended up in a real polling station on October 10th eh?
Just sayin’ oh anarchist brethren…
I’ve been working on the Campaign for Arrogance, and I really think you need to give him a listen. He’s got dynamic vision, and he’s certainly the best man to lead us boldly through the complex 21st century world.
You’re voting for change Throbbin? Ontario is Liberal now, pray what would you prefer it to be?
Mike: This is not a thought that has escaped me. With a printer, a pair of scissors, and an Elmers glue stick, all things are possible.
I’ m a big Cronieism fan, myself. Loved “History of Violence”.
SL - My comment on voting for “change” was commentary on how campaigns are run these days. Every party that is not the sitting government campaigns on a platform of “change”…as if things right now are all that bad in Ontario.
Whooee! I got a hard time believin’ it myself but I might be votin’ PC. If I do, it won’t be a vote fer John the Evangelizer.
Here in Nanticoke, we got North Merka’s worst pollutin’ coal-fired power generator. Ginty wants to tear it down and build a goddam nuke plant next door. Our local MPP, Toby Barrett (PC), ain’t fer the nuke plant. He’s fer installing scrubbers and carbon capturin’. I ain’t sure how much sense that makes but he’s the onliest official voice who’s come out against a nuke.
If the polls say Toby’s gonna slide to an easy win, I’ll vote Green. If it looks tight between Toby and a nuke-lovin’ Grit, I’ll hold my nose an’ vote PC. So far, we ain’t got a Green candidate. I had a couple phone calls askin’ if I might stand but I don’t wanna run against Toby on accounta he’s a good ally in the anti-nuke department.
I ain’t too worried about John Tory winnin’. He’s diggin’ a big hole with that dumbass school fundin’ thing. Stoopid! He’s been makin’ all the wrong noises vis-a-vis Caledonia and other land claims issues, too.

Damn, am I gonna have to rework that and add stupidity?
…. maybe it could be covered under “general pandering”
