I'd be happy as Larry to see this general strike carried out by a large enough number to have an impact. I ain't holdin' my breath, though. The Merkans is masters of the "support the troops" meme. They'll manage to convince enough flagwavers that strikin' is unpatriotic an' if there's one thing Merkans don't like, it's bein' called unpatriotic. They almighty dollar is more important to some people and most corporations than even kids' safety. Stayin' away from work ain't an option fer the greedy or fer the workin' poor. I'm a little hesitant about participating in anything that says "9/11 questions " since that has become a bit of a code phrase for kooks who think the buildings had bombs in them, or didn't fall because freakin' jets flew into them.
