Surge III, Will It Ever End?

Building on the success of other surges (some of which looked like more of the same but according to the White House were not) the Joint Chiefs of Staff are looking at another surge which will, we’re sure, also not be more of the same…. even if it looks like it is.

According to Iraqi PM al-Maliki Iraqi forces are capable and American troops can leave “any time they want.”

Didn’t he once say if they weren’t needed anymore they would leave? If Bush had any sense he would be taking the opportunity he is being presented, why isn’t he?

    Will it ever end?

I dunno. You know how influential the Hollywood mythos is in the formation of American consciousness these days. How many Superman sequels have there been so far?

    Coming soon…

“Surge IV – 3D Imax Edition”
    “Son of Surge”
    “I was a Teenage Surge”
    “Return to Surge Beach”

    And of course…

Andrew Lloyd Webber Presents: “SURGE – THE MUSICAL!”
