I Guess She Wasn’t Happy

Another glimpse of US war time atrocities - mature audio content, not for the faint of heart.

Who did the WTC?

Remember that demonization process I talked about the other day - this is another result.

These people are not only animals, they are stupid animals.

Why aren’t the guys listening to this confession of a war crime putting a bullet in this idiot’s head?

    “Support the Troops?”

Not guys like this. Cue the apologists saying this guy is a “bad apple”…

  2. Throbbin on July 13th, 2007 at 9:06 am

How can this guy sit there and laugh about it? Laughing, drinking a beer, making fun of torture, rape, and suicide.

“Anyone with a rag on their head is fair game” - not the first time I’ve heard this, but this guy takes the cake.

Kudos to whoever decided to post this video - and I hope some branch of the military is actively hunting this dog down. People in America can still be hung for war crimes, right? They should take him to Chino, pimp him out for a day, and then hang HIS ass!

It’s a 50/50 toss up Mike, it may be the few bad apples gig, but there is an equal chance of “but they do worse”.

Then again, we may be completely wrong and they’ll do nothing more than shrug and ask “but what can we do?”

Who would have guessed that the good people of the land of free and the home of the brave would be reduced to international admissions of helplessness?

The military hunting this guy down? If they are, it’s only to give him a medal, would be my guess. This stuff is SOP for US soldiers.

I posted about that one yesterday Dr Dawg.

Throbbin, maybe instead of pimping him out they should pimp out his 15 year old sister, or maybe his mom, force him collect the money, and then see how much laughing he does.

Unfortunately for America, and western society in general, this sort of behaviour is ignored or minimized by the mainstream because

[a] the demonization programs have been successful; and,

[b] it’s just too damned uncomfortable to admit that the [supposed] forces of good not only can, but do, commit atrocities like this.

Look at what America did when their president admitted, on national TV, that not only was the military and intelligence arms of his government torturing people, but that they were doing it with his approval.

Was there a huge outcry? Hell no, there was a 1 item menu offered up about the difference between real torture tm and what their military did with a side order of “but they do worse” - and then the practice was embraced and then forgotten about.

They have become what they said they were fighting against and seem pretty content with that.

Sorry about that. So many blogs, so little time.

“Why aren’t the guys listening to this confession of a war crime putting a bullet in this idiot’s head?”

Because he is entertaining them with his stories, and they are full of celebrity-worship, listening. He is adding a little spice to their otherwise nullified lives. They will watch with the same rapt attention if he is ever executed for his crimes. Then they’ll have a chunk of history with which to entertain their grandchildren…a first-hand, “I was there” reminiscence. The grandchildren will listen with the same rapt attention. And the cycle continues.

“How can this guy sit there and laugh about it? Laughing, drinking a beer, making fun of torture, rape, and suicide.”

Because he has been desensitized to the dehumanization of his own kind. He has absorbed the lessons from birth that people from other cultures are not quite worthy of the same life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness that he has been guaranteed by virtue of being born American (and this does not just apply to Americans, nor even all of them). And because his values and priorities have been arranged to make him what he is — an ignorant package of muscle power with just enought brain power to understand that as long as he continues to please his masters, he will not be the subject of torture and humiliation. And he will continue to have his beer and his audience.

Not enough brain power, however, to have paid stricter attention to the rule, “No more fuckin’ cameras.” With any luck (and maybe some activism), this video will find its way to the offices of a prosecutor who will have the balls to go after him and his cronies.

Is that a US Special Forces t-shirt he’s wearing. That should narrow the field.
