The day started out innocently enough, a trip to Victoria Island to catch the show of friend Lucie Idlout - it was a great show, if you ever get the opportunity to see her live do so.

After the show I parked the bike at friend crows house because Lucy wanted to head to The Dominion Tavern for an after show beer with the band, parking the bike involved food and beer…. I should have known where things were headed right then and there.

Ultimately we all got to The Dominion, Big Jeezus Truck was playing - how can ya go wrong with Big Jeezus Truck?

Answer - you can’t.

They also put on a great show, and if you ever get an opportunity to see them live do so.

– before I knew it it was 2:00AM, and we were sitting at a picnic table on The Dominion patio clinking glasses with the Slim Reaper listening to one of Lucie’s band explaining how at that point in the gig staying up all night was probably the best way to make sure that everybody was awake for their flight tomorrow.

It was late when I got home, and it was late when I got up, which is why the Sunday morning open trackback post is late hitting the pages — I’m gonna rest now, and then go get my bike, and then maybe, after that, I’ll have enough energy to play on the InterWeb.
