Open Trackbacks, Reader Comments, & James Bow Is Coming To Town

In addition to the the regular Sunday open trackback and reader comments post we have an announcement – Toronto based author and blogger James Bow is coming to town for the launch of his new book “Fathom Five”.

balbulican and I met James at the launch of his first novel “The Unwritten Girl”, Andrew (Bound by Gravity) and his partner came out for the event, and after the official doings had been done we retired to a quiet pub for food, a pint (or two) of ale, and a blogger gabfest about many things.

The launch is June 3rd at Books on Beechwood from 3:00 – 4:30 PM, there will be snacks, coffee, a presentation by James, and an opportunity to pick up an autographed copy of his book. Then we’ll follow that with pub food, a pint or two of ale, and a blogger gabfest – a Sunday afternoon in June takes on a life of its’ own with an opportunity like that doesn’t it?

All bloggers and readers in the region are invited to the launch and the blogstravaganza that follows, we’ve got lots of advance notification so block that afternoon off on your calendar, round up your fellow bloggers and their readers, and come out and meet James (and the rest of us), we’re looking for big numbers here folks, something they’ll write about in the papers :-)
