Another CPoC Member who decided to say what he thinks instead of what he is told to say gets a taste of the party wrath.

The Conservative government triggered howls of protest in B.C. today after booting Conservative MP John Cummins, a fierce critic of his own government’s policies on fisheries and native land claim treaties, off the standing committee on fisheries and oceans.

Personally I don’t agree with his stance, but that’s beside the point of this post.

Cummins is a party member, his job as part of the machine is to sit down, shut up, speak what he’s told to say, and vote how he’s told to vote.

Anything else gets him one step closer to the party door, which, as recent history has shown us, closes way to fast for it not to hit exiting members on the ass as they leave.

Not unexpectedly……

Cummins was replaced by rookie Alberta Tory MP Blaine Calkins

Rookies are good for sitting down, shutting up, speaking what they are told to speak, and voting how they are told to vote.
