Only The Words Have Changed

The Bush policy of “Stay the course“, which they apparently have never actually been, may not be cited as such anymore, but is changing the words enough for the American public?

President Bush met with his top advisers and military commanders on Iraq yesterday in a White House session that, senior officials said, weighed options for forging a way forward amid the surging violence but did not contemplate any major shifts in strategy.

November 7th will tell.

    Whooee! Well, whaddya expect? If these numbnutses was t’ change strategy, they’d hafta admit what they been doin’ so far ain’t workin’. They won’t even admit that. Reminds me o’ that ol’ song — “Hap-hap-happy talkin’, Happy talk.”

    I seen a good one on Dubya this mornin’ all ’bout how he uses “the Google” sumtimes but he never, ever reads or sends email. Yeow!
