Remember back in April when Harper stood up in the House of Commons and said that he had secured a “long-term solution” to the Canada/US softwood lumber issue? Truth, it appears, is much different that his fiction.

The truth appears to include a “screw you we’re leaving and piling on the duties” clause and an American veto over our national forest policies.

… one wonders if Harper will in fact “Stand Up For Canada” or, as the Wingnuterer says, bend over for a big ‘ole American woodie?
