Two Iraqi women were shot to death north of Baghdad after coalition forces fired on a vehicle that failed to stop at an observation post, the U.S. military said Wednesday. Iraqi police and relatives said one of the women was about to give birth.
Iraqi police say the woman was pregnant, relatives in the car say the woman was about to give birth, both say they were on the way to a maternity hospital… and the US military statement says “one of the females may have been pregnant” - regrettable indeed ‘eh?
There you go again. At least she wasn’t shot by one of Saddam’s men: and hey, she may even have gotten to vote, maybe.
