One of the (Right)WingNuts asked the question, “How would someone making a movie that rewrote the holocaust be accepted?” The Da Vinci Code and the holocaust? Come on now, anyone with more than 2 functioning brain cells should be able to see that this one is a discussion of apples and sea cucumbers.
Fact: The holocaust happened
Article of faith: Jesus was the son of god
Fact: Millions of Jews were killed
Article of faith: Jesus rose from the dead
We could compile a really long list of facts -vs- articles of faith but that would be just about as pointless as the holocaust -vs- The da Vinci Code comparison.
I can see why some christians might be miffed at a movie that calls into question their articles of faith, but really, they gotta be able to come up with something better than trying a pathetic piggy-back on what really was an atrocity.
I’m sure the wingnutter was of the same voice of reason that couldn’t understand the Muslim communities’s outrage over a couple of cartoons.
