Reasonable Canadians would think that we should hear about Canadian international commitments from our own officials as opposed to foreign ones….. don’t ‘cha think?
– and while we’re asking why we get news like this from foreign officials why don’t we ask just why our officials tried to keep the deal under wraps and why our Beloved Leader is trying to play ignorant about something that is simply to high level for
“I know there have been proposals looking at some extensions of Norad into the maritime area, but those haven’t been finalized.”
– on something that has already been signed off on by one of his Ministers.
The bunker remembers those pre-election days when Harper and the CPoC in general scoffed and made jokes when the “hidden agenda” came up in discussion, this sort of “openness” and “transparency” is not going to make it go away.
