Back on the 11th of January we posted about [then CPoC Finance Critic] Monte Solberg stating that the Kelowna agreement would not be honoured by a CPoC government - all good Conservatives can now applaud and put a little check mark in their “promise kept” column.
This is another case where the bunker is not surprised. The CPoC will, at least until non-Aboriginal Canada forgets about it, continue with the “We take Kelowna seriously” line so people can say “they’re working on it”, however the “lot of stuff” that needs to be done will remain just that, a lot of ambiguous “stuff” - and little or nothing will get done.
I will not be the least bit surprised to see non-Aboriginal friendly back door assimilation policies hit the table before this is over with.

More studies and stuff are needed, eh? It must warm the hearts of bureaucrats and consultants and lawyers everywhere. This is almost as much fun as the eternally re-announced defence spending of which the Liberals were so fond.
