My mentors and masters here in the Stageleft basement bunker were kind enough to afford me an extended weekend holiday to head out West for my annual ski trip with the “boys” this weekend.  Of course, I was told to “make it up” in reference to the time off [mutter, mutter, I mean what kind of communists are these guys….anyway?] and “clean it up”, meaning my computer station and hardrive before I leave [the other guys are doing all this music stuff, hello?? lots o’ bandwidth, how bout all that friggin memory!! and I, I, am supposed to be cleaning up my hardrive?.  Hmmp!]

So as it were, upon cleaning out my bookmarks, I stumbled upon an old friend; a blog I have not visited since I had my own, Heart of the Matter, now eons ago.  I found again “A Day in the Life“.  Paul the proprietor is one seriously funny guy.  I read his posts again tonight for the first time in months and months and I had a really good belly laugh.  Go check him out.

In the meantime, this Treehugger will be out West skiing the slopes of British Columbia for about a week.  Take care all, and if you don’t hear from me by next Friday, be sure to call out a team of St. Bernard’s.  I prefer a nice single malt scotch in their casks as well; none of that brandy crap.
