– Michaëlle Jean was appointed to the position of Governor General for Canada. The general conservative outcry was truly wonderous as a result of people she and her husband had associated with in years gone by, beliefs and values they might have held, or still may hold, and words they had spoken at the time. They were all proof positive of a number of things - including how she was unfit for a position that represented Canada on the world stage.
