– that’s really about the only way to describe this particular rant over at Canadian Cynic, now I’m not going to say that I agree with absolutely everything in the post… but as blunt as it is, if ya take a solid look at the points he brings up, it’s hard not, well…. agree (at least somewhat) with the ideas put forward.
George Bush and the US government have not done a lot over the last few years to endear themselves to the world and the American ‘our way or the highway’ attitude was not only bound to reap such a reward, but to keep reaping that reward time after time, for years to come - unfortunately this type of backlash inevitably hits the innocent as it has in this case.

You liberals don’t get it do you? You think the first priority for a President is to make sure everyone loves us. Well how nice and touchy-feely of you. Read the Constitution someday, and the responsibility of the Presidency. If that is too much for you to read then simply read the oath of office. It doesn’t state “…to make sure every other nation finds us to be sweetie pies…”.
