Stalinist Agitprop?

Ain’t it funny? Earlier this year Amnesty Secretary General Irene Khan described Guantanamo Bay as “the gulag of our time”, and in doing so sent the (Right)WingNuts into foaming at the mouth fits of rhetoric that bounced around the airwaves and the blog-o-sphere for weeks on end….. uber(Right)WingNut Ann Coulter recently said

To expiate the pain of losing her firstborn son in the Iraq war, Cindy Sheehan decided to cheer herself up by engaging in Stalinist agitprop outside President Bush’s Crawford ranch.

(emphasis mine)

And nobody is batting an eye, some definitions for y’all:

agitprop: (n) political propaganda (especially Communist propaganda) communicated via art and literature and cinema

stalinist: (n) The bureaucratic, authoritarian exercise of state power and mechanistic application of Marxist-Leninist principles associated with Stalin.

Khan was more accurate, Coulter is not only inaccurate she’s either a complete idiot or needs to subscribe to dictionary.com’s word of the day so when she spouts her drivel she doesn’t look like one.

One Response to “Stalinist Agitprop?”

I used to think that Anne Coulter would gradually drift so far off into nonsensical rage that her fans would abandon her. Astonishingly, she seems to be dragging them down into her own little psychotic hell with her.

Of course, I didn’t expect anyone to mistake Farenheit 9/11 for a documentary either, so what do I know?
