Bloggers across Canada and the US reacted with profound indifference to the news that Balbulican, a non-blogger residing in Ottawa, Ontario, was found dead at his Ottawa computer today, apparently the victim of an apoplectic fit.
“I’ve never seen anything like it”, said Dr. Semir Omar of the Ottawa General hospital. “He was as red as the Maple Leaf on the flag we all know and love so passionately. His head had literally burst.”
Police spokesperson Sgt. Nancy Spungeon dismissed rumors of foul play. “It’s true that the letters “OC” were daubed in blood on his monitor,” said Sgt. Spungeon. “But we assume he was simply bidding farewell to Ottawa-Carleton, his home for many years.”
Balbulican is survived by a grieving bunker buddy, Stageleft, who gave a short statement to police. “Well, we’ll miss him for sure”, said Mr. Left. “But at least we won’t have to watch those fucking Jackie Chan DVDs every night.”
