When reading here you reminded of the words of Buddha: Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.

It’s great to see that they’ve (finally) picked up the walkers story. I sent an email in asking about that when you posted about it few months ago, I would imagine other readers did too when they read that post. Definitely better later than never.
Fantastic article, the writer really captured the up-beat spirit that the group exudes. It’s funny, most of the clients that my company works for are government, and when it rains, we get alot quieter, because so many of them call in sick. We get the auto-responses from their email servers. It’s amazing to read about young people that are willing to walk 35 kilometers a day through all types of Canadian weather, in order to draw attention to an issue they care about. Maybe when they get to Ottawa they can do some workshops with the guys in parliament and give them some guidance on showing true dedication to task, and what “doing something about it” actually means.
