TalkLeft, the politics of crime has done the research - this is what the editorials are saying.
Eschaton has the goods on web polls.
What is interesting is the reports of ties, at least one figure as high as 30%. Only the most fanatically partisan of Republican viewers could call what happened last night a tie, it wasn’t the slam-dunk win that many of us were hoping to see, but a tie it was not and calling it such can only be one of two things:
- Republicans tossing Bush a bone
- Republican denial
I haven’t tuned in to the R/W talk radio circuit yet but the local righties on CFRA (R/W Ottawa talk radio) are working hard to spin things in their favour…. according to Steve Madely the 30% who called it a tie were ‘really saying’ that Kerry didn’t win - yeah right Steve, that’s what it says, and your comments say pathetic.
I can hardly wait to see what the likes of O’Reilly, Boortz, and Hannity have to say.
