( Yahoo News ) Regular Iraqis looked on President Bush (news - web sites)’s 2 1/2-hour visit to their country with befuddlement and bemusement, saying they knew it was meant for U.S. troops but hoping he gained some insight into the country during his brief stay.
It wasn’t intended to mean anything to the Iraqi people, it was intended first and foremost as a photo op, and secondly as a moral booster for a few of the troops.
